Renegade Model Tour

If you have ever looked at a runway and thought, “Could I try that?” you are already asking the right first question. Being petite, having tattoos or starting with no experience does not mean you should abandon the idea. It means finding an experience whose participation criteria fit you.

Read the requirements for the opportunity

Modeling opportunities vary. A designer casting, an agency submission and an educational tour may each have different requirements. Read the actual brief rather than assuming one standard applies everywhere. Look at the age range, location, schedule and the type of work involved.

When something is unclear, ask about that specific opportunity. Be honest about your appearance and experience so the organizers can assess your application using accurate information.

Renegade welcomes different looks

The Renegade Model Tour invites all sizes, heights and looks to apply. It is a hands-on modeling experience built around runway coaching, portfolio development, castings and industry education. You do not need prior modeling experience to take that first step.

The tour is not a pageant competition. Its focus is participating, learning and developing your presentation. The current tour page lists Los Angeles in October 2027. Age requirements vary by tour stop, so review the details before submitting an application.

Show your current look clearly

Use clear, recent photos. Let your application show your face, proportions and personal style without filters that change your appearance. If you have visible tattoos, give the organizers an accurate view of your look. If you are petite, list your actual height.

You do not need to explain away the things that make you recognizable. Your task is to present yourself clearly and follow the application instructions. That is more useful than trying to guess what someone wants and changing every image to match it.

Focus on skills you can develop

Practice posture, walking and listening to direction. Learn how to move your hands naturally in photographs and how to adjust a pose without losing your expression. Prepare a short introduction and keep your basic information organized.

These are practical skills you can work on before any event. They help you feel less distracted by the mechanics and more ready to engage with the experience. You can improve your presentation while keeping the look that belongs to you.

Understand what you are applying for

Renegade is a paid tour experience. Review its current package, participation details and schedule before making plans. Think about what you want to gain: runway practice, portfolio materials, industry education or a first introduction to fashion-week modeling.

Visit the tour page to explore the experience and send your application when you are ready. Your first step can be a clear introduction and a willingness to learn.
